📋 Preparation Tips

• Be punctual. Aim to join the meeting a few minutes early to account for any technical issues and show that you value the interviewer's time.
• Do your research. Familiarize yourself with our mission, values, and recent projects. This will help you tailor your responses.
• Confirm receipt of your scheduling email. All the necessary information will be included in the .ics file invite. If you have any questions or issues, feel free to reach out our Recruiting Team.
• Prepare your questions: Think about what you’d like to ask regarding team dynamics, company culture, and expectations for the role.

📅 What to Expect

• Logistics: The interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams. We recommend downloading the Teams desktop app though you can also join from your web browser. A link will be sent on the email and in the calendar invite.

• Interview Environment: Make sure there are no distractions and you’ve got a well-lit area for your video.

📬 Post-Interview Process

• Follow-Up: You can expect to hear back within 48-72 hours after your final interview loop. In some cases, the timeline may be shorter or longer depending on various factors.

📞 Chat with the Talent Team (~30 minutes)

Your first introduction to the team is a call with the recruiting team. This conversation will cover your past work and what you’re looking for, motivations for joining the team, and an opportunity to ask any questions you have about us.

We’re looking for a mutual fit so we’ll aim to give you 5-10 minutes at the end for any questions you have.

🧑‍💼 Call with Product Lead (45 minutes)

If the team decides to move forward, your next call will be with our product team lead. This interview will cover your specific skills and past experiences as well as the type of product experiences you’ve had in the past. Expect questions about past projects, problem-solving approaches, and things that have gone well or not gone well.

You’ll also have 5-10 minutes for your questions at the end. It’s helpful to prepare a few thoughtful questions in advance.

Initial Team Interviews

🧗🏾‍♂️ Strategy & Execution Exercise (60 minutes)

You’ll receive the problem scenario at the start of the interview. The interviewer will act as your teammate and help answer any questions you have and guide you in the right direction; you will be driving this discussion. The goal is to come up with a solution and detail your approach and why you’ve chosen this solution. There is no right or wrong answer; we’re more curious to see how you go about understanding and solving problems.
